Scholarships The Connecticut Association of Optometrists is associated with two scholarships, the George Comstock Scholarship and the Dorothy Weitzner Kornblut Scholarship, that are available to eligible Optometry students who reside in Connecticut. In addition, the CAO is the administer of The CAO Robert L. Ross Foundation, Inc. Click the link below to apply or view more information.
New Graduates/Licensees CAO Membership is free for the remainder of the year following your Optometry School Graduation. New licensees are encouraged to join at this time. It is a great opportunity to meet new colleagues and network with fellow CT Optometrists. Membership dues are based on your graduation date from Optometry school. CAO has a New Optometrist Guide that is located in the Members Only Section to help guide you through applying for your license in Connecticut and more.
