Optometric Approach to the Patient With Headaches COPE PENDING - 2 Hours
The chief complaint of headaches is frequently encountered in optometric practice. This course provides the basic mechanisms of head pain, with distinguishing features of asthenopic, primary and secondary headache disorders. Case studies are utilized to highlight the role of optometrists in directing the patient to the most appropriate management.
 
Neuro-Ophthalmic Disorders When is it an Emergency 45466-NO - 2 Hours
Patients presenting with neuro-ophthalmologic system disorders raise concern among clinicians given the potentially emergent nature of the underlying disease process. This course utilizes a case-based approach to highlight several such conditions with emphasis on when the disorders require immediate attention vs. when they can be managed more routinely.
