Everyone, From Children to Adults, Deserves the Opportunity to Take Care of Their Precious Vision.
Volunteers in Service in Our Nation (VISION) USA is a non-profit, tax-exempt charity developed by members of the American Optometric Association. The VISION USA™ program is designed to benefit the estimated 40 million working people and their families in the United States who have low incomes and need eye care but cannot afford insurance or the cost of ordinary care. Since these people work and earn income, they often fall between the gaps of government and private health care assistance programs.
VISION USA™ provides basic eye health and vision care services, without charge, to those who have no other means of obtaining eye care.
VISION USA™ , was started nationwide in 1991, by the American Optometric Association. This program has already served over 314,000 low-income working Americans.
